STAGE poster presented at the AAL FORUM 2016

From September 26th to 28th two delegates of the National Research Council’s Institute for Construction Technologies participated in the AAL Forum in St. Gallen, Switzerland, in order to present the STAGE project and disseminate the latest results of our consortium’s research and work.

The three-days-long AAL Forum gathered more than 450 stakeholders (researchers, technologists, start-up companies, investors, policy makers, health professionals, care associations and older people) from all over the world to present, discover and discuss the latest technologies, ideas, projects and objectives to pursue in the future within the Ambient and Assisted Living field.

The two representatives of the project’s coordinator ITC-CNR presented a poster about STAGE and a demo version of the application delivered by our three partners: SIVECO, CEDEO and GEORAMA. The presentation was performed during two “poster sessions”. Each session had a two-hours window during which the forum’s participants could walk freely along the corridors shaped by the poster’s displays and interact with the reps of every project in order to get further information and make new connections in the light of possible future collaborations.

The STAGE project was welcomed positively by the public and the poster generated productive dialogue and meaningful sharing of ideas and suggestions with experts, among others, from Netherlands, Germany, France and Austria. The Forum was the proper environment to confront our experience with other ones and to receive a feedback on our first results.

Moreover, this event gave our two delegates the opportunity to participate to lectures, workshops and meetings to get updates about the latest innovations ready for breakthrough and meet a high number of professionals eager to share their ideas.

Richer in knowledge and full of inspiration we got back to our project!
